Tom Sanders, Executive Vice President Sales & Business Development

Tom Sanders has over 20 years of experience in sales and business development.  His experience includes developing and operating business development functions for fortune 100 companies, Big 4 accounting firms, global consulting firms, and start-up companies.  His expertise lies in sales processes and methodology.

Prior to joining Avascend, Tom was Director of the National Advisory Services Practice at Ernst &Young. Tom served as a member of the executive management team responsible for the strategy development, business plan and launch of the Global Communications Advisory Service. Tom developed the business and marketing strategy for the Communications Advisory Service eventually taking this beginning practice to a 20 million dollar practice within 3 years. In addition, Tom was part of the senior leadership team responsible for the acquisition and integration of the Andersen Consulting Telecommunications Practice. 

Tom’s career experience spans several years of technical sales, marketing and leadership roles, and business development consulting.  Motorola, Sprint and Sprint PCS comprise the major companies for which Tom has developed and executed successful strategic marketing plans and sales programs.
